I think you can disable it permanently if you use a program called forscan.
You can add and remove lots of features like hill start assist, heated seats/wheel, fog lights remain on with high beams ect.
Also some use an upfitter switch and wire in a high idle mode will keep it on also.
Or a cut off broom stick and wedge it between the brake pedal and seat :)
