NW KS/ SC ID | my opinion, 3 hours is better than nothing, but considering the size of the heater and the oil sump ideally id have the pan heater plugged in over night.
With the generator Id definitely direct the exhaust towards the oil pan with the hood closed if you could. heat is heat.
If in the farm yard with good power, we have been known to just put a magnet heater on overnight on stuff that starts well, but has 15w40 or thicker (straight grade oil or 15w50 mystic) in it. | |
