Breckinridge Co. , Kentucky | Four years ago this month, we lost my mother in law to a brain tumor. My boys were 8 and 4 when she died. The littlest took it hard but didn't really undestand, the older really had problems. To make things worse, my grandmother died 16 hrs later, so two funerals in a row. The kids were at funeral homes but we gave them breaks away and with other children. Just had to keep close eye on them. Oldest really took the losses hard, we took him to child psych for a few visits. |
