| I’ve used two 300w magnetic heaters on a (80? hp) Deutz oil cooled diesel engine pan when around 0 degrees. Plugged in early morning and started around noon. 5 hrs? Pulled heaters off and could hold hand briefly on pan where heaters were. Definitely warmed oil and helped to start compared to a cold start. I don’t think with two heaters there would be a “too long” in your situation. If you are running a generator to power heaters and block heaters and have plenty of amps I would add a small battery charger to warm batteries as well. They don’t like cold either. | |
