Galena IL | We planted 920 units of Epley's and 80 units of smart stx. I always split the planter so my side by side's are 200 acres. Epley took the top 4 places, then Dekalb was 5th, another Epley number and the big P came in last. Results not from test plots but fields on Deere op center. The scale tickets and the yield monitor were within 1% of each other. I do use insecticide in furrow on all my coc. At $120 seed cost and 20 bu / acre yield advantage I'll stick with Epley...
