They can be impossible to break loose. I’ve got some in a head that I’ve tried everything and if I ever need the head, I’ll torch the body of the injector off so I can get a 12 point socket on the nut. I was just trying to get enough injectors to send to the shop and get rebuilt.
The tool will just spread open if the nut is really stuck. Had access to two and neither one would break tne stuck ones loose.
There are plenty of used injectors available if you have to sacrifice one. | |
