I still dont understand why some do and some don't. I have a 2025 2500 duramax that will idle all day, wife's 24 suburban will to, my 23 would shut off
My Brother an I both have 24 3500's...his shuts off, mine will run all day.

Wonder if it’s the high idle software ? Mine has the high idle where you hit a cruise button and will idle up. You don’t need to do that to leave it run all day but I saw the feature on the build sheet so maybe that is the difference?
