Youre kinda all over the place and Im not an expert so take my advice for what you paid for it. As far as the 1010, anything is possible and I feel like someone on here actually made a 1020 fit a flagship and if anything a 1010 could actually be slightly simpler. Is it worth it? Nope. Not only do you have to widen the opening, youll have to make it taller on top of fabricating latches, adapting drive shafts, hydraulic couplers, etc. I think there is a faceplate from case for the mid range combines to put one of those heads on but iirc its expensive and may or may not even fit a flagship.

To answer your other questions below, for a 40' draper youll want to look at flagship machines X010, X120, X230, X240, etc. Idk if a mid range X088, X130, etc will handle the weight of a 40, maybe but Id imagine barely. As far as swathing with the combine, best case it will kind of work with some modifications and a lot of grain loss from damage. 50%+ wouldnt surprise me and thats if it could even be done at all. Im also not sure you can even use the same draper head on a swather as you could on a combine. Maybe with some fairly major modifications but I have my doubts. Likely not something youd want to switch back and forth.
