Yes sunflower engineers were irritated after Agco bought sunflower. Don Landoll from Marysville hired them and opened a manufacturing plant in Beloit Kansas and the blue tillage line was made.


Sunflower engineers were irritated that they were bought out, and the old owner wasn't calling the shots anymore. Can't remember his name now, but he got mad that AGCO didn't let him run it like he did before he sold, and took half his engineers to Landoll.

We were a dealer for both at the time, knew the Landoll folks really well, even had some of them over for dinner back in the day when they were in for farm shows. The "good old days" as they say

Landoll discs after that point were definitely very similar to Sunflower.

I've been looking all morning for some old info sheets on the discs, and can't find squat. 1434 is wide, 1435 had some narrower options, but any of them are good heavy discs, that level well and can still finish
