I’ve told this story before. My FIL bought Allis Chalmers 6080 serial number 1001. New.
My wife and I bought his line of equipment when started and came time to trade tractors. Didn’t think we could buy outright so traded it on different tractor and of course now wish we had it back to sit in a corner of our shed for the past 30 years.
