West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Yup, damn near the entire Anoka Sand Plain is now covered in solar panels and/or some other type of development. The interesting thing is that several of the families land that is now covered in solar panels sold their farms to the East and moved West due to urban expansion back in the late 60s early 70s.
An ole boy that I picked/hauled seed corn for for many years and helped farm one season in the same area whose family homesteaded the land he was farming called the "outsiders" "the Osseo bunch." |
