Sears going away is what allowed HF to get bigger. Yes I know HF was around the same time as Sears, and you can still get Craftsman tools at Lowes and Napa, but HF fills a void that Sears left
Have not bought Craftsman tools in the last 25 years and have no plant to in the future. Too bad, use to be a good brand. I have a few that need to be replaced, but heard horror stories of getting them replaced at Lowes. Might try, I guess I got nothing to loose.
