Yes that is part of the problem, look back at the covid era and the amount of money the packers were making, kind of took the wind out of a guys sails. Then you throw in the greenies cow farts will be the death of us all, the administrations talking down the price of beef, it can all get to a person, sometimes it's best to turn off the media and get away from it all.
