Penn St is a much better job if, winning a national championship or being in the conversation is his goal. If just having a phenomenal job, with great job security. He better say at ISU. PSU will gas you in a second if you lose a couple games.
I think there are many coaches out there who just want that security, if they have a couple mediocre seasons they still will have a job. PJ Fleck would be one of them for sure. He isn’t ever leaving. Well, with the guaranteed contracts these days, if you get fired, you just go fishing and golfing every day on paid leave. And PJ ain’t leaving cuz he’s already climbed the ladder as high as he’s ever gonna get. How many of these high level jobs have been offered to him? |
