Maybe he wants to win a national title. He will never do that at ISU (nor will anyone at Iowa). Maybe he wants to be the best once. And this time period we are in may be his best chance. Somehow in the future, they may well close some of these current loopholes that allow teams willing to spend to have a chance at winning it all.
