Ft. Ripley MN | Absolutely there is an agenda being pushed. The money is in these data centers collecting information on what we read and click on everyday so they can sell it back to us. These realized the only way to make that happen is with nuclear energy, wind and solar were never going to meet the energy demands needed.
Far as the OP I did a job west of ellendale a few miles and they were working on that data center… from what i gathered no one saw it as a good thing except for those building it. A lot of the power I was told was going to come from the wind farm west of there. What I was curious about was where all of the water was going to come from…I guess when they powered up part of it this past year it completely shut down the town power wise… I guess people were not happy. Have another job again out there so see what the sentiment is now
I guess I’m not so worried about the power aspect as much as the water aspect, I don’t think the public truly understands how much water these data centers use. | |
