coast of Maine
Scotty,we have 3 outdoor wood furnaces, one is plumbed into the shop that has no floor heat so we use a Modine there. It also is plumbed into two greenhouses with modines.Another is plumbed into multiple buildings, some with floor heat, some with modines. We have lots of very reasonable wood here.Never split, never worry if green, loves pallets.Takes a lot.LogBoiler.com.I did have a wash bay that was semi sized.Used a #2 fuel oil fired water heater, slick.I think a season was 500 gallons. It went away with the shop fire years ago.Next shop is a conversion and no tubes in the floor.
