Reading Mn

I’m sold on dry insecticide. Had a wind event in 2019 ? on one farm. Heavy Corn on Corn area. Wish I would of took drone pics but this is how it was.All the fields boarding mine.
1. Mine. C on C conventional corn with Aztec 0-5% lodging with 3 varieties.
2. C on C traited Dekalb 75% lodged
3. C on C traited Pioneer 75% lodged
4. C on C conventional corn with with generic capture 100% lodged
5. C on B traited corn 5% lodged

Farmer 2 & 3 added smart boxes on the planter the next yr.

Farmer 3 & 4 are rotating more with beans as the agronomist and seed salesman advised them.

I just keep on planting conventional or above ground traited so I can rotate roundup once in awhile. To heck with paying for below ground traits. I’ve had that farm in corn about 15 yrs and mostly conventional the last 10 as it was more profitable then planting SS corn for me.
