That’s kinda what I thought too! Why only 4 loads?

Because my fields within 1.5 miles. Absolute furthest point. So I use two 610 bu grain carts to redneck pit. *gravity box feeding Á auger that runs all day* So using my semi for wet corn is slowing me down, requires another person.
BUT to increase capacity. My dryer bin is bottleneck. I added a 1500 bu wet bin, my two carts =1000 bu+, the semi 1000 bu+ redneck box will have added sides to I hope 500 bu. Toss in couple +400 bu gravity boxes.
When combine is here. I can fill dryer, start drying, fill wet, semi, boxes, carts, quit. If decent conditions dry, move in 2 days. I then can refill dryer bin, dry 2nd load, move +2 days. *so 5 days*
Combine comes do it again. Most years 2 cycles. But I hope yields double next year. ;)

Ok seriously. I had hope to store 4 loads soybeans next year. But if price jumps $1.50 in under 2 months from harvest. I think it was $.07 a month this year. So $.08 next. $.16, heck 20 cents I haul in, dump from field. If I get $1.50. *ok $1.30* haul it all directly from field. Guy I hire for beans
