Several years ago we had alphatoxin (maybe vomatoxin) in corn and wheat, the elevators were docking all over the place. On several rejected loads I asked for a sample so I could send it into the state and have it graded. I was told that was illegal and once the sample was taken it was property of the elevator. If you got back in line or went to a different elevator odds are it would pass. If you had a bin and stored no one ever tested for it again once harvest was over. It was a joke to screw the farmer out of an already short crop.
