North Central Indiana | Have a neighbor with 5, roughly 5400 bushel, bins in a row, unloads all come out and point straight east, and they’re all 6” unloads. Before he quit hauling his own grain he put a nice little conveyor running north that catches all the bin unloads. Eliminated the short incline on each auger head and now he can unload at 5k+ bushels/hr for us when we haul for him. Only part that isn’t fun is sweeping all the bins at the same time. Obviously not every situation and setup can be upgraded like that but we acquired another similar setup from a neighbor when he retired and we did the same to it. | |
