| My approach is hit CRW with both barrels. Roots are asked to do a lot, get water/nutrients into the plant and keep the plant standing during high wind. Because of that I use traited corn and dry insecticide on all my corn. It’s not cheap but down corn or pruned roots in a dry year are not cheap either. I don’t want any feeding on the roots, period. | |
