South central MN | Went away from anything in furrow 6-7 years ago and just planted doubles on bean stubble and Qrome or Vorceed on corn on corn acres. Have done beetle bombing with fungicide but seen a lot of beetles late last summer. Had some instances of root feed in bean stubble this last year and am wondering what the best direction to go. Seems like extended diapause is getting us on acres after multiple years of corn on corn, beans for one year and back to corn. Simply using traits would be easy but wondering if relying on just traits is the answer | |
