UP / Thumb of Michigan | My current issue with Treasury Direct is changing a bank account. Been some time since I've tried to work it out again, but I also am trying to accomplish it in the early mornings. Before my second cup. The problem was that a number on the account was transposed or something. I haven't been able to simply go in and edit it, takes a letter from the bank and a special code and maybe permission from an unnamed bureaucrat. Ran out of patience.
It was so much simpler when I could just go into the bank. I guess I'm dating myself.
I will say the first ones I bought, with a 3.4% coupon, have done quite well. | |
