coast of Maine | Long story ,, but frigged without I assume.Sued by scammer,had 2 umbrellas over main policies.Insurance co.#1,had lots of bacon to lose.They knew they could win,,was headed to court,douche wanted 7 million,was not injured , 2years later claimed seizures from trauma.Ins co #2,had a million $$ policy .At meeting with 23 people getting paid but not I.Split up in factions.My INs co lawyer said if ins co lawyer for co #2 doesnt show by noon he is in error,(some legal term I did not know),we will take and offer his million to settle as cost to defend will be 500K$,,we will chuck in 400K and take ins co #2 's money,,he has until noon,it was 11:45.At 12:01 they offered the $$ to the douche bags,,they grabbed that like it was a sweet bride.The duty to defend is what you get when you buy a policy,,it was quite something.Been other times as well but long stories. | |
