Boone Co. Iowa
I got a Landoll, I think it is a 5531. Picked it up after Boone Farm Show fall of 2024. I would say I am happy with it. Typically get a great stand.

I had an old Great Plains, 20' on 8" rows. It worked great too.

The Great Plains had coulters and the Landoll doesn't. The Landoll has air bag down pressure on each row - just adjust for more pressure if the ground is hard.

The Landoll seems built pretty stout. I go 7 to 8.5 mph and get along fine. I sold the Great Plains, it wasn't as stoutly built in my opinion. It was 25+ years old I was 3rd owner. Did great job. But needed something bigger.

The Landoll holds 140 units so you can get a lot done between fills.
