My advice would be don’t do it. Mainly for losing the efficiency of banding your fertility. And sooner or later, you will stratify your nutrients by spreading just on the surface. Ask Marion Calmer if you don’t believe me. Or Fred Below. Or Hula and Dowdy. If it’s good enough for those guys, ought be good enough for the rest of us too.
