Land is at a huge disconnect from "farming" income.     Land is being bought primarily with money from land that is already owned and paid for.


The "have's" (those with paid for land or farming family land) are doing well, the "have not's" (those that rent all of their land at top of the market rental rates) are feeling the pressure.

And as always, its a vocal minority making most of the noise with ag businesses amplifying the noise because it benefits their cause.
