Every area is different so do some tests. We no-till corn into soybean ground and have done for many years. We put 1/3 of our N down with the planter using row cleaners and Deere single disc fertilizer openers. About 3 years ago we had a neighbor, who uses strip till do some tests and he made some alternating strips in our field with the strip till rig. We planted into the strips and the area between them with same fertilizer and we did not see any yield advatage to strip till on average and the neighbor was with us to weigh it. He no longer uses strip till, he is notill now too.
