Cen Ks | Shopping for winter prices on fertilizer yesterday. We typically run ATS with N on winter wheat. Local prices vary from $260/ton (delivered)to $410/ton(picked up). The low priced supplier told me they would be mid $300's by March 1.
One supplier warned me not to carry ATS thru the winter without blending it down. What the NAT opinion on winter storage for ATS?
We are located in south central Ks, our winters consist of mostly lows in the teens & highs in the 30-40 range. Several times each winter weather systems will take us down the single digits for a few nights, then it warms back up.
ATS now or later?
Tanks are on the south side of a building, not exposed to direct north wind. Does that make much difference?
