East Central South Dakota		My observation is on posts like this; North Dakota South Dakota and Western Minnesota farmers are pretty quiet. Which leads me to believe that the financial crisis is really dependent on your map dot. Farm structure and cultural history of production are quite different in the fringe than the corn belt. Wheat and cattle farms are now corn and soybean farms. It takes a lot of acres to survive the wheat and cattle business platform, which makes a pretty good land base for corn and soybeans. Plus, innovation, and invention in seed and machinery really changed the Dakota's.
