Back on topic, closing wheels are an obvious cheap first step depending on how you plant. We started with half a planter of twisters, now we have them on 3 planters on every row. 2x2x2 makes sense to us but we haven’t done it as we don’t love any of the current options to achieve it and don’t like the idea of dribbling on top. Earlier planting is another one, not an exact science but we’re sure to be ready for the first window every year now to get something in. | |
