Subject: RE: Cover Crops

Colfax Indiana
We’ve been planting cover crops for 14 seasons now. Had county tile guys wanted to fix a tile on one of our farms. We normally do this ourselves. I was busy. I said go ahead. When they came to me with what was needed for the repair they said what is going on with your soil ? They said they normally we can stack up the dirt on other folks farms. They said we couldn’t pile up your soil. It dug easy and looked like soil from a potting soil bag. So we KNOW we on the right track building organic matter. We work the cover crop in. We have our bugs working for us. We have improved our return on investment. Took several years to see all the benefits!!!
