Lots of variables in the farming community. In my area several of the big guys with all the coin were an only son or one of two. They got it all when daddy passed it away. It's just the way it is. My grandfather owned around a 1000 acres when he died. All paid for. He had 7 children. That wealth got spread out. But make no mistake. A lot of farmers that haven't inherited land are not in the best shape right now. Land rich and cash poor is a real thing.
