Roseglen, North Dakota | I am ot a fan of NH3 with that drill in any way, shape, or form. You have 1 chance to place the seed perfectly and that may/may not happen while applying nh3. If you're dead set on 2 passes, put the nh3 on while putting the dry down.
One other thing to keep in mind. There is minimum clearance under that drill to move around. So if you're under there unplugging a seed or fertilizer boot and get a puff of nh3 you'll think you're going to die. Because you can't get out of there quickly. | |
