Subject: Insulating an Existing Pole Barn

Auxvasse, Mo
I have a 44'x70' pole barn built in the 70's with a concrete floor poured sometime after that. I'm interested in insulating it and adding heat to turn it into a shop. Wondering what would be my best option for this. Spray foam seems very expensive, and I worry about moisture getting trapped behind it. I've considered sheeting the walls and putting blow in insulation behind them. I understand that condensation is a concern. I'm not a builder or carpenter, just a farmer looking to make an affordable heated workplace. Any guidance would be appreciated.
