What if, instead of more frame flex, you could install a row unit with more vertical travel? It might be required to be electric drive to achieve it, as I am guessing a chain drive could limit some of the increased movement?
I would think that longer parallel arms, along with slightly more degree of rotation could achieve substantially more travel.
