How much Ca is in your lime I cant remember from Neil Kinseys book but its like less than 2000 lbs of calcium. Here we dont do anything more than 4 ton and that about matches up with those numbers. Anything more than that and you will goof your soil. Break in ground can be tricky. We apply 6 ton on that but you wont get a corn crop off ties up all the P for a couple years. Plant beans if your gonna apply a bunch of lime.
