West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
Same amount of cancer per capita, but more cancer survivors due to better diagnoses and treatments than back in the good ole days IMO. And as another poster commented, many cancer deaths were labeled as "dropsy," "natural causes," or some other undiagnosed cause of death when people were dying at younger age on average back in the good ole days.
