| I took a pretty good beating from a bull years ago. Most gentle bull you could ask for. I sold him and fella came to get him. He was backed up to the corral and reached in to grab his hot stick. I told him to put that away because we would not need it. I grabbed a bucket and lead the bull to the trailer and threw some feed into the trailer and he was slowly climbing in when all of a sudden this this guy reached through the fence and goosed the bull with his hot stick. He turned on me so fast it made my head spin. Got me down and tried to drill me into the ground. Only thing that saved me was he pushed and rolled me toward the side of the corral and I was pushed under the bottom pipe and out of his reach. Laying in a pool of my own blood I gave that man one of the worst cussing ever delivered. If I could have gotten to my feet I would have beat him to death. I refused to complete the sale to him as my livestock deserved better owners. The bull calmed down and was walked on a trailer a few days later just like he had sone moving pastures for years. As for me I remember it taking a long time before I felt normal. | |
