Yeah, I'm not a housing expert, just what I've seen. There are small towns with cheap/free lots, and easy permitting, and there may be SF rentals being built, I'm just not aware of it, and the rent in small towns would be lower as well, while the house itself would be similar to a larger town. Dozens and dozens of duplex sites though.
