NW Illinois | I just recently needed to buy some Fleet Guard coolant and there are 4 different colors available. I have a Magnum tractor that has the red color in it (I purchased it with that in it). I also have a Case skid steer that has the blue color in it.
I know years ago you didn't want to mix colors of coolant and I guess I'm still old school on that. Now a days you can mix different colors of coolant on most automotive applications.
I was told by one outfit color doesn't matter & don't get hung on color when adding coolant to AG engines.
I called a truck shop that repairs Cummings engines, and they said I could mix "Green & Blue " coolant's but "Red" don't mix with anything but red.
Just thought I would reach out to the AG Talk community and see others have experienced or done in this case.
