I think cancer is detected or diagnosed more now than in the past. Kind of have a feeling there is more cancers now due to environment and diets and less exercise possibly.
My parents used to mention people back in the 20’s-40’s or 50’s dying of “dropsy”. I kind of think those people actually had cancer but back then was never diagnosed as such.
