I am amazed every holiday season by the commercials that portray spouses giving each other expensive vehicles for Christmas. Does it happen? Yes, I'm sure it does but to the average consumer it seems like a real slap in the face when a large percentage of them are struggling to pay their rent or put gas in their car.
