Historically Trojans have been the go to high quality golf cart battery. If you want to go down the lithium route it will cost more money but they will last longer, no more checking water. Find a golf cart place to do the swap or start reading up on it.

Rebuilt an original FWD BadBoy Buggy a buddy was going to scrap. replaced electronics, front end, rear axle, and batteries. It had the old style blackface charger and motors were good.
