Ohio | My wife’s company does a simple Ira through Edward’s jones. They have a match similar to what you do. She also gets a year end bonus, vacation days, holidays etc. you mentioned health package, they just give her money to go buy her health insurance. She is taxed on it. They could do a Health reimbursement and she wouldn’t be taxed but this would hurt us in the fact that we buy government insurance and couldn’t take the subsidy then since technically her employer gives towards health insurance. It’s been a good system so far. Good luck. Encourage employees to find a retirement account and to do so early and as much as they can. | |
