Along with all that was listed above, If time permits - you can go to a public park at Port Canaveral  (Jetty Park) and watch the cruise ship come and go. It's pretty neat area. The port itself is pretty cool ~
Also, you can look for "I Dream of Jeannie" and the Major. There is a historical marker honoring the show in Lori park somewhere on the Cape. ..  . . .
