south east SD | Over the years I have done this because we tend to combine when it’s around 80 degrees anymore.
Try to cool it to around 50 asap, get condensation coming out.
Then when it gets 30 degrees air it out again, hey a little less condensation.
Just the other night it got down to 5 degrees I ran them for 18 hours. There was snow on the roof and the next morning it was mostly there so I shut them off and will be happy till spring. Very little ice on the eves, almost no condensation.
Bigger bins get 48 hours and check the tops by looking in to feel for heat.
