Subject: RE: treated soybean seed

Missouri
Is it worth what they charge, no, there is more profit in treating seed than selling the seed. I think they’re charging $9-16 anymore. 5 years ago I could buy the treatment for $4-5 and two neighbors treated some. I quit treating about 10 years ago because of the fleecing it got to be. Started back in when had neighbors do it for $1 plus the treatment. My spot in replanting has went to almost zero, hard rains after planting and water sitting in low ground and terrace channels always seems to hurt my stand, treatment has fixed that as much as I hate to admit and what it costs. Must be my soil type too.
