So I have a 2009 335 with about 12000 hrs on and it needs a new transmission. The dilemma I'm having is, is it worth putting a reman transmission in it? If I put a reman transmission in it will I get my money back will the motor last another 3 to 4 thousand hrs? The other option I have is selling, and updating the tractor. the problem with this is not sure how to approach getting rid of it. Could it be sold as is with the stipulation that it needs a new transmission? What is it worth to a salvage yard? Im not sure what the best option is.
